Poplar tips and blue skies

The forecast for today was high winds and heavy rain, changing to snow. Well, it bucketed rain last night and we had our first thunderstorm of the year (the dog was thrilled). But once the sun came up the skies cleared and we had a beautiful, if windy, day.
