Sutro Baths, Lands End

The Sutro Baths was a large, privately owned, public, saltwater swimming pool complex in the Lands End area of western San Francisco. Opened in 1896, the structure was destroyed by fire in 1966 and only the ruins remain, sitting above the ocean.
