This tree is small but loaded with ornaments that depict cowboys and ranches. I’ve enjoyed collecting these ornaments through the years in my travels to the Southwest part of our country. I guess my affinity for cowboys and the Southwest comes from growing up in West Texas, a very dry and arrid, hard scrabble part of our land. There are still huge ranches and lots of rugged cowboys in West Texas.
Oh my goodness I love the tree!! My parents use to do a "horse" themed tree :)! I still have a few of those ornaments around here. Love the Howdy Ya'll ornament!
