The word for today is “Dog”, so I thought about our son’s Belgian Malinois, Rusty. Our son, Jerry Jr is part of a search and rescue team in north Texas. Rusty is a smart, really great dog for their searches, it’s rare that they aren’t called out at least once during any given week. When we arrived so I could photograph Rusty, it was quite apparent he wasn’t going to be still for a split second. Honestly when he runs, he’s a blur. Jr wasn’t home to control him, so granddaughter Cadence did the best she could keeping him still for a mini second, ha! “Best laid plans”, and all that.
@danette I used the phone app “LiveCollage”. You click “collage”, then “see all” and go to the number of photos you want to use. It’s super easy. I use the “blur” to frame the collage photos. 😊
@farmreporter@henrir@danette With over 7 million people in our metroplex, there really are a lot of missing persons, sometimes elderly people with dementia, sometimes mentally challenged people, teenagers, and so on. Jr and Rusty are really only available on the weekends due to Jr’s work schedule. It’s not uncommon to turn on the TV on the weekends and see them working a case in conjunction with area police.
@joemuli@carole_sandford@milaniet@olivetreeann@taffy@onewing Thank you so much for your great comments. I’m going to have to go back to Jr’s one evening when he’s home, to take Rusty’s photo. When he gives a command Rusty does exactly what he’s told. They are an incredible team to watch during their training sessions. A parking garage floor collapsed in a Dallas suburb last week and Search & Rescue was called out to make sure no one was still in a car under the concrete sections that fell. Thankfully no people were hurt.
This is a great collage of him!
@cindymc @ludwigsdiana @danette Thank you! He’s really something to behold. I’ve never known a dog so smart.
