These bamboo sticks were about the only thing green on the Riverwalk. I honestly don’t know if they are bamboo but I couldn’t find anything else that they could be. Let me know if you know what they really are! *Identified by Katy @grammyn as Horsetails, thank you!
I have no idea what bamboo looks like when it first starts to grow so I wouldn't be able to say yes or no on that- but the picture is really pretty and I like your focus on the center shoot. Nice!
Yes, definitely a nice shot - I would have said bamboo, too, until I looked at Katy's horsetail reference. I've seen some of that here - next time I come across it, I'll have to see if it's still green.
