We had been to Sedona on several occasions in the spring and fall, never in the summer. We were astounded at the number of cars and trailers lining the road into town, the number of families walking along the road. There were big lighted signs saying “all parking lots full” as you pulled into the city limits. We were stopped for an interminable length of time at a red light in town when I saw this great wagon. I had plenty of time to roll down the car window and take several photos. Any time but summer, Sedona is a lovely, sleepy Arizona desert town surrounded by gorgeous red-rock buttes, steep canyons and pine forests.
