The lovely lady at the Kimbell Art Museum today

This bronze sculpture, “L’Air”, draws your vision to the courtyard by the museum restaurant. She was sculpted in 1962, by the French artist Aristide Maillol. His work was predominantly nude women, he believed they signified beauty, truth and innocence.
Lovely framing :) that sculpture does draw attention.

Nicely framed and good use of the light too. Even the silhouettes of the people are well placed!

Love your pov

I like the way she is framed and shown within context including the room and people. It's far more interesting than a photo of the statue alone would be.

@sugarmuser @stevepam @carole_sandford @happypat @chejja @joansmor @onewing @pcoulson @beryl @ludwigsdiana @happysnaps @sarah19 @kwind @bkbinthecity @olivetreeann Thank you for your wonderful comments. She popped on the PP a while ago. I’m mystified about the PP process, I thought a photo had to have some faves to qualify. Anyway, I’m so glad you liked this, I started to wait for the two seated people to leave then I realized they really added to the scene. I’m so glad you agreed!

The PP has something to do with algarhythyms (not even sure if I've spelled that correctly) but it's mathematical more than anything else. I'm not sure what triggers the program but the only thing I understand about it is that it appears more random than programmed so who can figure it out?!

@olivetreeann thank you, Ann. I’m always honored when a photo lands on the page, for whatever reason. 😊
