Our local lake’s water level has dropped about 12”. It has been so hot we’ve had serious evaporation at our lakes this month. The grass is brown now, an indicator of our hot, dry August.
The water levels are still ok here- but it has been drier recently. I think we will miss the kind of conditions you're dealing with. Hopefully you'll get some rain soon. Even with the brown grass and low water, this is still a pretty landscape.

@olivetreeann I will sure tell Henri you were checking on her! The last time I talked to her she was some better but still tires so quickly if she tries to do anything at all. She will appreciate your sweet words I know.
We are heading for water restrictions here and it is still winter. So little rain this winter.
On our way out this afternoon we passed the dam and the levels are very low at present.
