At a sweet French bistro in Grapevine one evening. They have the classic “mussels and frites” on their menu, and I can’t resist having them every time we go. To be sure they are not as good as they were at Two Garçons in Provence a few years ago. It’s amazing how food memories from our travels stay with us!
Fun lights! (It's unusual to find a restaurant the can expertly replicate authentic cuisine from another part of the world unless the chef comes from there in my opinion!)
@olivetreeann you are so right. The chef is a woman and honestly I don’t think she is French. The mussels are delicious though. I‘m sure part of my memory is remembering just being there. Probably the worst food would have tasted good because I was in Provence. Ha.
