When the muffin recipe calls for 25 minutes baking time and you think it’s 35 minutes 😊

My sister and brother in law are coming tomorrow so I thought I would bake some blueberry muffins. The little black puddles are the muffin butter, sugar, cinnamon topping. I cut the burn away, now they are thick crusted muffins with a bit of smoke flavor. Jerry very kindly ate one and said “they will be fine”. What a guy! 😊

Don't feel bad- I don't think there's a baker out there who hasn't misjudged the timing once or twice! I'm sure they still tasted good- and in the end, they get mushed around in your stomach anyway!
