Hackberries are pretty with their leaves on, but such ugly trees when their leaves fall off. Our small neighborhood park has several growing by a draw, I ventured over there before the rains and was glad to see the few red leaves. For Annie’s November Words.

@happypat birds do like the berries. They are not palatable for humans though.

Aren't the red leaves neat! I first noticed just the berries and thought I bet the birds enjoy them - glad to hear they do.
