At the Veterans Day parade Saturday these dogs were in the dog squad walking the parade route. I loved that when they stopped for a minute in front of me that the dog on the front left looked right at my camera. Her owner said she’s quite a poser. It’s a real stretch I know, but I’m using the dog shadows in this shot for my November Word today, “shadows”.
We do not see a lot of dogs where we live now and definitely no boxers (due to their short noses and the heat they often have trouble breathing). It's a good thing there are no boxers here because we had to put Rango (our boxer) down before our move. In March he was diagnosed with long cancer and was given 2 months, but he made it to the end of June. However, every time I see a boxer I think of our boy and want to cuddle them.
