The idea is to jump the pegs and end up with only one left on the board. That’s the idea, but more often than not you end up with at least three or four. This for the extra word “games” this month.
Interestingly Lou Ann we had an English version called Pin Solitaire as children the pin holes in the shape of a broad cross, the game dates back to the French court of Louis XIV around of 1687:)

It’s fun to while away the time waiting for your food to come out of the kitchen. This one is the triangle shape (with the “trunk” added to make it a Christmas tree) in the colors of Christmas.
