This lovely book reviewer lectured on this book about all the traditions and history of England’s Royal Family at Christmas time. What an interesting lecture, she is an art history professor, and gave us so many fun tidbits about the Royals. The book is only available in hardback, it is chock full of exquisite photographs.

Because she is an art historian, she took us down a very circuitous path, from Pope Julius II and Michelangelo, to Catherine of Aragon, Arthur, King Henry VIII, King George and on to the current royals. She adored Albert and Victoria, she was a fabulous lecturer.
