Cadence is self isolating at her university. Her roommate (one of three roommates she has in her apartment) came down with Covid two days before Thanksgiving. The girl who was sick went home but the three roommates stayed in the apartment. They had a “Friendsgiving” for Thanksgiving, one of the roommate’s parents left a full holiday dinner at their apartment door. So sweet. I received this postcard in the mail from Cadence a week or so before her isolation began. 😘
Oh dear what a shame! My sister’s granddaughter at Uni also caught it along with all her flat mates! Not sure there was much social distancing going on at Uni!
So glad they were together....sad for these young students who should be out enjoying their new phase of life.
Cacti....my ten year old grandson who lives in NZ has 22 cacti plants in his bedroom....I saw them all on zoom last week!
Good for them for being so responsible- a Friendsgiving sounds really nice if you can't be with family. And that was really nice of those parents to help out with the food. I hope their quarantine time goes quickly and that no one else gets sick. They may actually have built up natural antibodies to it already thanks to their exposure to it. Nice card!
