All because of a magazine

I subscribed to “Country Home” magazine during the 80’s and 90’s. In the early 90’s they started offering annual Vaillancourt Chalkware Santas in their Santa Club. This Santa is from 1994, so he’s 26 years old now. I purchased a Santa every year for probably 10 years. We traveled to Williamsburg, Virginia several years ago and I added to my collection, with Chalkware as well as blown glass Vaillancourt style Santas. I’m very hopeful Cadence will want my Santa collection!

Sounds like a fun collection. My two granddaughters belong to the dil who's into minimalism so I don't think they'll be wanting much of anything of mine. I've started giving things to my nieces now so they won't just be tossed when I'm gone! It's wonderful to have someone who treasures your treasures!
