This orange and cream and brown fabric is the upholstery on the backs of the booths at our favorite breakfast place. The textures and shapes look so much stronger in b&w. This week is going to be fun for me, there are so many aspects of b&w, thank you @olivetreeann for your great lessons for this challenge.
@grammyn well I read and re-read Ann’s post and it just proved to me that there are so many “parts and pieces” to b&w photography. This is the ugliest fabric ever in real life, it looks totally different in b&w. Will just do the best I can with this week. I look forward to your photos!
Good start Lou Ann- boy you had me laughing with the comment to Katy on how ugly this fabric really is! It just goes to show how removing color from a photograph can truly change how the subject is perceived.
