Our Hill Country wine tasting tour two weeks ago took us to the beautiful new Augusta Vin Winery. They had excellent wines, even though the winery is just four years old. It’s amazing how many wineries have started in the Hill Country. Most of them buy their grapes from around my hometown of Lubbock, while they wait on their new planted vines to start producing.
