Pioneer settler Frank W. Porter built this iconic 1888 style barn for his ranch in the Flathead River Valley in western Montana. Those are the Mission Mountains in the background. It is in the Blasdel waterfowl production area in Somers, Montana. It is the most photographed barn in the valley, and in need of restoration. The area citizens are working on a restoration project, I hope they succeed.
