So many people have moved to Texas in the last five years that we can’t build housing fast enough for all of them. Covid impacted lumber production tremendously and the price of lumber has skyrocketed. We saw this train with 2 locomotives and at least 25 cars, loaded with lumber and going to Dallas last week, I was thrilled. For the word today, B&W.
Wood has rocketed in price here too Lou Ann….I think covid has affected building supplies & then of course Brexit but we seem to have managed quite well with our build…just waiting for the shed roof. A brilliant b&w shot.
Love the triptych in black and white- so many of my husband's jobs have been affected by the shipping issues. And wood prices here are sky rocketing too. Hopefully in time the prices will come back down, but they rarely do!
What a cool collage! I love that you were able to catch the front and the back!
We actually have been lucky! The lady who is renting our house in Houston wanted to move out in August, but her new house is not ready yet (due to the shortages) and she is staying a few more months. Which works out really well for us.
