The elephant ears

Lori and I couldn’t get over the elephant ears at the arboretum, top she is standing by the black leaf one. The bottom photo is the type we are used to. They are used in lawn landscapes, and so dramatic!

Wow- they really are big! Believe it or not there is a house near me where they are growing two of these. I don't know how they'll last through the winter, but they're getting quite large. Not as large as these yet...

That black one is amazing--I've seen the green ones, and love their size and shape, but the black is unusual. Nice comparison of the 2 colors.
