This small town just a few miles from my home has exploded with growth during the last five years. A vintage home goods store opened in an old service station and my friend Lynda and I drove over to do a little shopping. I had not been to Coppell in ten years and I couldn’t believe how many restaurants and nice shops had opened in the downtown area. It’s always been a kind of worn out old farm town, not anymore. The home shop had the “you are my sunshine” mural painted on the side of the building, so fun.

When I worked I was in that area once a month at meetings. They had a little grocery store and hardware store. Now those stores are wonderful shops, there are some incredible restaurants, new townhomes and condos. Yes, it was so nice to see this small town full of happy people and places.
