In March of 2020, two Grapevine residents painted some rocks and took them to a nearby park. They wanted people to have something fun and kind to do during the pandemic. They laid them along the edge of the trail through the park and posted a photo on Facebook. Before long they were receiving rocks from all over the USA and the world. On September 8, 2021, Guinness World Records came to the trail and counted all 24,459 rocks to declare the site as a world record holder for “Largest Display of Painted Pebbles”. Lori and I walked a portion of the trail yesterday, I will post photos this week. We are already talking about painting some rocks and taking them there.
Yes. Is. Awesome! What a fabulous idea and how exciting to be in Guinness! I love your photo. The low POV and composition tell the story beautifully! FAV
Wonderful idea and great photo. Nice POV. With so much division among people today, it's encouraging to see people coming together in a project everyone can participate in.
