Shapes at our favorite Thai restaurant. The cast iron tea pot keeps the tea steaming hot during the meal, I’m tempted to buy one to use at home. FoR shapes today. Just three more days for Flash of Red this year, thank you so much Ann @olivetreeann, for leading this month long challenge, it’s been great!
I too am rather taken with these cast iron teapots & have been tempted but as I usually brew straight into a cup I resisted. I love my tea very hot & think it goes to cool & stewed in a pot….I would like to borrow one first to try as they aren’t cheap!!
Maybe because it's cold here tonight, but this looks like such a cozy place. I like the different shapes and interesting to read about the cast iron teapot.
It's a Japanese tetsubin (iron pot). Be sure you get one that's "lined" because the traditional ones aren't and it's an important aspect of the water taste but it's a pain to keep rust-free. Nice shapes!
