the Penguins do have nesting boxes all over the area, but mostly they like to breed in the sand. from just 2 breeding pairs in 1982, the colony has grown to about 2,200.The sea has been very rough and washed a lot of kelp ashore, which makes it look rather untidy.
After seeing so much devastation to our wildlife here in Australia recently with the bushfires and drought it is so good to see some species surviving so well.
Love the blue tones in the water and sky!
