You are so fortunate to see these in nature -- wonderful image and title fits it well.

I never tire of seeing your zebra photos.

Aaah, one day I'll get to see them in the wild, hopefully while we're still fit enough to enjoy the experience !!!!!!!

Seems so exotic seeing zebras on the side of the road. I did a double take as I thought the two either side were replicated but they're different. They look like bookends.

@merrelyn What is happening with your cancelled trip Merrelyn? Will you be doing it in the near future?
January 14th, 2022
So cool that you can see zebras out your car window! I have to go to the zoo now to see them but it doesn’t compare to actually seeing them in the wild like I did when I visited SA.
January 14th, 2022
Yeah, they don't seem too concerned. Great shot.

@ludwigsdiana I think that it will still be sometime before we're travelling again Diana. Our borders don't open until 5th February. We've been really lucky with Covid but I fear that will all change when the borders open. We're both triple vaxxed but for the time being we'd prefer to stay in Western Australia. Just before Christmas, South African Airways announced that they would give us a full refund on our airfares which we weren't expecting to happen. It makes me wonder if they're planning to axe the Perth route. We still have open ended credits for the deposits paid to the company that we had booked our tours through.

Great shot

@merrelyn How wonderful that you at least got your airfare back. Hoping that some kind of normality sets in soon and that you will be able to visit us :-)

@elisasaeter Thanks Elisabeth :-)

@ludwigsdiana I keep hoping that Covid will soon be a distant memory and then another variant raises its ugly head.
