Gnu by ludwigsdiana

Gnu

or Wildebeest, native to eastern and southern Africa.

These animals look like thin, muscular cows with large sloping backs, and both sexes have curved horns. the also have large manes and bushy beards.
It looks more like a horse with horns to me. Great picture of this strange beast Diana

Can’t help thinking of the stampede in Lion Kong when I see a wildebeest. That eye is something

Such an odd looking body. It looks like God couldn’t decide what to do with extra parts and threw them all together in this animal

@grammyn @ljmanning Those descriptions match perfectly, they do look weird if you see them close up ;-)

Love to watch their migration on the animal channels. But when the crocs show their nasty faces I have to turn off the TV.
