on my frangipani.

I got such a fright when this critter landed, that I lost focus. He was off soon after.
Type of bee? Pretty frangipani

Great ‘in the moment’ capture. And woah, @monikozi, love your dark knight of pollination phrase!

Beautiful flower and capture. Good timing catching the little bugger doing it’s pollination dance.

Beautiful… I adore the fragrance of frangipani 🌸

Your flowers are gorgeous, but that animal looks huge! I can see how you would lose focus on what you were doing.

Beautiful flower, and intersting bee. It looks like a black honey bee.

He’s really big relative to the flower - great you got the shot

This is so nice with your little photo bomber. I think it’s a lovely shot with an added bonus.
I had a similar fright a couple of weeks ago when I was taking a picture of a house. I was standing by a wall when my screen suddenly went black as a cat had jumped up onto the wall in front of me. It took me a second to realise what it was!

Instead of a black sheep in the family, he's the black bee of the family. Yes, I'd be wary of him too- usually the ones with a lot of black have quite the sting! It's a really good shot though!
