The Prestigious Oamaru Ordinary Cycle Club

Some of the members reaching the end of the Alps to Ocean (A2O) Bike Trail. It runs from Mt Cook in the Centre of the South Island down to Oamaru by the sea. Past lakes and over rivers, through pastoral and historic areas. There were about 30 of them!

Three good things;
1. I got out at the right time to get several photos - it was a guess as to when they would go past!
2. A concert in a lovely church with 4 people playing 2 pianos.
3. Feeling bright and breezy after a good sleep!
That looks so cool. And I assume those large bikes are just as easy to ride?

@digitalrn They seem to love them, Rick! No brakes and you have to be careful how you get off - more likely a sort of falling off!

@maggiemae Yeah I can imagine there would be a trick to it to avoid some horrific damage, and pain
