Because this guy was wiping tears from his eyes as I watched from across the road! I took photos of cathedrals and Town Halls, statues and butterflies but this shot took my heart!
Three good things:
1 great day in the Museum - Bikes and butterflies!
2. Too many photo opportunities!
3. I love travelling locally!
Oh, poor guy...he looks so lost and alone on that bench with his heartache. If anyone ever needed a hug, I think this fellow is a candidate. I can only hope that today finds him in a happier state of being. A very poignant capture, Maggie.
Ohhhh...the sense of loneliness and/or loss is so strong here! Perhaps he will feel the enery of empatjy 'round the world! Wonderful and powerful shot!
it is hard to watch another person suffering with tears and not know why.
ths happened in an airport one day and before I could think of what was best to do another person asked her what was wrong and gave her kleenex's. glad you had a very good day.
Oh poor man, the lady at the side is dying to go & see if he is OK I bet too.....this looks like it could be a station of some sorts, perhaps he has had to say goodbye?
This is a much more poignant photo than a building !!
He does look rather pathetically sad and you've captured that well. Mind you, he could be just feeling sorry for himself too! Then again, he could have suffered a major loss!
