Speedway

These mad motorbikes race around this sloping dirt track In a hair raising way! They use one leg put down to balance and slide the rear wheel around the corners. One guy we knew called Kevin raced in all 5 events with different bikes and supported himself in this endeavour! Unfortunately he fell off twice in this event and in this photo it is the second time! Poor Kevin but he's a hard case,

Three good things:
1. A long day and being nicely tired.
2. Done the grandchild (actually great grandchild but don't say that too loudly) bit this morning with only one child being banished to the foot of the stairs for bad behaviour!
3. Glad there have been no shark fatalities in NZ lately!
