The Lotus position

This is the picture in my mind that I want to see when at nights I lie awake for hours! To be floating perfectly still on a lilypad listening to the sounds of the night!

Three good things:
1. I do wake up in the mornings and that's got to be good!
2. I have yet to photograph a lotus flower - they are always too far away from the bank!
3. I really don't need to see a psychiatrist!

Lovely capture. I don't fall asleep very easily either--try to conjure up all kinds of things in my head. Have never figured out how to count sheep.

@yonnie apparently counting sheep is all about concentrating on a boring subject! One that doesn't stimulate the brain! It could apply to counting lemmings jumping off cliffs, or cows wandering along the path to get milked!

I love this and your processing, Maggiemae. I listen to a Biofeedback CD at night. It really relaxes me though most of the time I am so tired that I just fall asleep. Up too late again tonight. Up at 6am, in 5 hours with my husband when he gets ready for work.
