From the past

Down at the other end of NZ, we met up with the guy who owns a huge hardware shop in Invercargill where the original bike od Burt Munro (John's father) is stored in a glass case! This is a John and Neville standing in front of the car that was used for the film, The Worlds Fastest Indian

Three good things:
1. Internet is slow here but now and then you can get through
2. People are so friendly and they do talk about whanau a lot.
3. Staying in a backpackers is Such Fun!
Terrific portrait of the two of them and a superb memory shot!

Great capture of the car and it's present owners. I loved that movie. Anthony Hopkins is one of my favorite actors (except for The Hannibal movies which I've never seen, way too scary).

@nanalisarocks you are quick with this identification! I think that is where Burt bought the car but there might have been a few plates exchanged for the movie!

Terrific shot - I think my Dad had a similar car in the 50s - Chevrolet deluxe painted cream or light beige perhaps.
