The Gaol that never died by maggiemae

The Gaol that never died

In 1869 the Oamaru Gaol was built and lasted till 1921 when it was demolished but the stables for the gaol still remain. They are hidden behind shops and out of public view but can be seen if you persevere. There has been some nice plantings around it. I can imagine the horses here for the police to ride out on!

Three good things:
1. One of my rally photos made the local paper.
2. Fun with my app, FX photo studio Pro
3. HJ got his hearing aids fixed - I don't have to repeat everything!
Great processing tones!

How great that you had a photo published! Congrats on that! And this is really stellar -- ominous looking as a gaol would be, but pleasing from the plants/stables side of it.
