A pie I put together to use up some of the fast growing silver beet in our garden. All sorts of leftovers went into it as well.
Three good things:
1.This pie will last three days.
2. One small rabbit is playing around in rabbit heaven.
3. Hail and thunder meant lighting the fire inside!
Oh yes please Maggiemae......looks absolutely delicious! Good old leftovers again! Great textures that show the layers of all those lovely ingredients. What a relief too not to have to think about food for a few days....personally I don't think it will last as long as you think!
Waww ! this looks scrumptious Maggimae -- there's nothing just like a home-made pie made from all kinds of left overs ! !I made a chicken ,leeks & mushrooms pie from the leftover chicken ,etc on Monday -- it did us two days !! So much more nutritious than the ready made variety A fav for me ( in exchange for a piece of pie --lol )
Looks scrummy!!! Poor bunny! Is chard like Swiss Chard? Jeff just brought some home tonight and I have never cooked with it before. Preliminary research has yielded the thought that I might be able to put it in a soup. But I'm open to suggestions!
