On the left is Joy, then Glenda, John in front, Alison and then Sid, Glenda's husband. I'm at the back.
Three of the daughters met up at our brother-in-law's funeral and as usual, we had a great time.
Three good things:
1. I didn't take this photo but the waiter did and nobody had their eyes shut.
2. it was a beautiful funeral and my slideshow was very important.
3. The flowers were absolutely beautiful - will post a pic later.
Chat is a truly lovely family photo....you all look so good & it's beautifully staged....we'll done your waiter. Funerals of someone who has had a long & happy life can be rather jolly occasions I find....I would hope my funeral would be such! I am sure you all enjoyed the slide show too.
What a super family portrait - the death of a loved one can be their last gift to their family by way of bringing everyone together. Thank you for sharing this .
So nice to have a shot of you all together. I like the comments about people being able to enjoy funeral gatherings, it's nice that this can happen despite the sad occasion.
What a beautiful family portrait!! It's always what happens at funerals - after the sad part at the beginning you can all reminiscence and tell wonderful stories afterwards. That's families for you!!
