Sitting in bed, I heard a funny putt putt sound out on the road. Then another! Looked, and there were vintage cars going past! I shot out of bed, put my big fluffy scarlet dressing gown on and ran to the gate barefoot over gravel - ouch! Snapped a few more then the battery expired! Grabbed my iPhone and was able to take one more which was the best. I didn't have motion settings on my camera.
Three good things;
1. I got lots of smiles and waves but no whistles!
2 .Broiled a silverside in the oven - so tender!
3. Rude Rugby songs
Loved to see this one.....such an unusual sight to see & the colours are very pretty. That was a good catch maggiemae, not something you see every day! They would be pleased to see you in your red dressing gown! Surprised no one whistled though....they have no appreciation!!
Well done -- great shot --I only wished there was a second photographer around to take a photo of you Maggiemae , in your red gown taking a photo of the red car !! -- a double whammy so to speak !
Love this. Definite FAV. Great color and composition. A step back in time...... Rural country (we have so little left where we are !) and an awesome old vehicle.
