In this apparent time of thunderstorms, my eye was caught by this looming cloud formation just beyond the hill.
Three good things;
1. I bought some heavy duty painkillers to enable me to actually move with my bad back.
2. Biking is no problem and I was down at the Harbour in wonderful warm sunshine when I saw this.
3. The ukelele group I play with is hotting up for the upcoming outdoor concert in Central Otago but the forecast is for rain!
@kiwisnapper There are many ukelele groups arriving in this tiny village of Lauder in Central for the festival. From Chch to Invercargill and each one has a 1/2 hour performance. Great fun - ours will be the best, of course!
How nice to catch this beautiful plump white cloud on the horizon. I love it and it certainly deserves a fav. Here's hoping your back problems ease up.
First good luck with the co test & of course no contest with you emerging as clear winners!
Show us the trophy at the end don't forget!
There must be an official name for a cloud formation like that but I don't know what it is! Rain will be welcome I would have thought!
@happypat Not a competition, Pat but its just supposed to be enjoying other company. PS. Chol test came back a 'bit' high but less than the last one! Have to go and have a 'heart' test tomorrow. I'll show 'em!
@brillomick Thats what I thought too, Mickey but apart from forming a dark coloured disk over its top, it did nothing! That 'disk' was probably a cumulonimbus!
Oh wow. This is a stunning shot. The cloud formation alone but then you add in the scenic view. Wicked. Fav! Yay for pain meds (I never am out of mine!). I hope that it doesn't rain on your concert!
Wow, this is such an amazing shot. I love those huge clouds. Pretty houses in the foreground too. FAV I sure hope your back is improving and that it does not rain for the concert.
