Thunderstorms over the hills by maggiemae

Thunderstorms over the hills

After spending hours waiting for birds to come to the feeding table, I headed out into the country on my bike. There was thunder rumbling all around me but as yet no rain or wind. Looking west from the bike trail.

Three good things;
1. Finally got a good photo of a silvereye.
2. I hurt my back somehow and am in pain while bending but its Ok standing. I'll have to stand all night.
3. Pruned all the lavender - a lovely scent while cleaning up.
A wonderful scene Maggiemae the dark thunderous sky while the sun glows on the golden grain fields -- and a great foreground A very well balanced shot -- fav Hope your back will behave soon !

Beautiful. This is so like the weather we've been experiencing. Storms seem to be encircling us. We've been lucky. Missed the wild storms under the big clouds but received our fair share of good soaking rain.
