Spent some hours trying to get the right effect of our home in B&W. This is sort of what I wanted.
Three good things;
1. A great morning of steady rain for our drought conditions. The farmers will be smiling!
2. I had to have a 'heart assessment' with a nurse as I had a high cholesterol count. She sent me away as a very low risk - 6%!
3.The peppers on my plant are turning red. I actually bought some and they are SO hot, even a piece the size of a pin head makes you go cross-eyed!
I love your house and your processing as well, Maggiemae. The leaves in the foreground are so cool looking too. I am glad you got much needed rain. We did too. All we get helps our drought as well. Had no idea you are in a drought. So glad you are ok on the low percentage. Wow, those are some hot peppers you bought. I do not eat anything spicy and the worst when anything has spice to it. Guess you will not be using the peppers you bought. Hopefully your peppers from your garden will be fine to use and enjoy. FAV
@olivetreeann That comment made me shudder, Ann! I liked to think of it as in the moonlight and there is a fairy just behind one of the bushes who is going to come out and dance on the lawn! Thats what I did when I was young - like a heap younger!
@maggiemae Ooops! Didn't mean to sound so dooms-dayish. Actually I can see the moonlight- as we have nights where the moon lights up the backyard in a very magical way- especially in the summer when the leaves are on the trees. They make all these interesting shadows. We used to go out in the early evening and catch fireflies when I was a girl. Don't see as many of them now- but it's where we live. They like grass and fields- neither of which is near us!
Very cool shot, Maggie. I like the negative effect. Glad you left your medical with a good rating. It's always nice. I used to love spicy food but haven't been able to have it since an operation so I think a piece the size of a pin head would not be good for me.
