Where did it come from? Seen in early evening in our skies! Its going from the east to the west which is not a destination at all! All our planes travel in a different sector of the sky and north to south! Going very fast and leaving this trail!
Taken right into the sun so I processed it to take out the glare.
Three good things;
1. Got 7 photo prints done for $1.33! At the local Smith City Store. It would cost more using our own print cartridges!
2. John broke my secateurs cutting something other than a plant but I got two new ones and delighted in going round the garden snipping off dead roses!
3. I have ordered a new mattress - pure latex rubber which is the best - our old one is over 15 years old!
Three good things indeed, specially the secateurs! And the mattress of course!!
I know your planes have nowhere else to go but up & down so this is really intriguing! One got lost!! Great edit!
Love the long road stretching into the distance with the trees along the way. Looks like the Light is heading towards the end of the road too! Nice processing
@maggiemae I have an app on my iPad called Flightradar24 & you can track the planes going overhead. Wouldnt be worth you getting it thought as you have much the same planes going overhead all the time but so many go over us it's interesting & it was only cheap!
What a great capture, Maggiemae. I have no idea how to process out the glare. Your processing of this photo is awesome. When I get streaks in the sky like this I usually do not know what went by. Good price on the photos. I have mine processed at Walgreens as I agree, way too expensive to print at home. I have not heard of a latex rubber mattress, sound interesting. FAV
Great shot, Maggie. That trail that's left by a plane is a chem-trail. It's quite different from the contrails planes normally leave behind because contrails dissipate and chem-trails don't. Chem-trails wind up spreading and bad things find their way to the ground. It's not healthy. Great 3 things. I love the mattress part. Latex rubber? Does it make creaky noises, like if you rub a balloon? I have a Jameson mattress (those are the mattresses at Marriott Hotel chains - I ordered special because it is really good for my bad back). Anyway . . . love this photo and your processing. Fav
@prttblues Yes, this trail spread but there was wind up there that shifted it eventually. I think it was a big plane Latex rubber can be firm or soft and is made from the rubber tree. The one I've ordered has 3 layers, firm on the bottom, medium in the middle and soft on the top! I have a bad back at times too.
@maggiemae Chem-trails spread. The wind makes it spread wider. My mattress isn't latex rubber though. It's a 7 inch foam mattress with a 3 inch pillow top. It's so comfy and so much nicer than those expensive Temper-pedic mattresses that people buy. I stayed at a Marriott in Nashville in 2005 and got the best sleep I'd had in 4 years (back issues from car wrecks) and asked what kind of mattress. The clerk at the desk told me and gave me the number to call because it's not sold in retail stores. And it's cheaper then a Temper-pedic too! It came with box spring and set up and taking away my old bed. And the delivery guys were cute so it was a bonus :D ... I hope your mattress arrives soon! Sounds like you will be on cloud nine!
OK, FAV for the shot, the starburst effect on the sun, and the HDR is beautiful....I cannot see your EXIF, but I am assuming you are using an F22 aperture to get that starburst effect! I don't know about the travel path of your planes, but maybe a UFO? And, yes, we so long overdue for a new mattress...:-(( I will be looking into those latex rubber ones....never heard of them.....maybe a link?!
@panthora The aperture on my camera only goes up to 8, Osia! However I was able to harness the bright light with post processing. Regarding the mattresses - just google latex mattresses! Apparently all Marriot hotels use them.
