Ruby has been having dreams! Dreams of being a steam engine and powering through the skies! Ruby is my bike that is electrically powered. Its history and the future together!
I used our wonderfully creative and real Steam Engine that is positioned in Oamaru’s Steam Punk area. You put some money in, and the Steam Engine’s whistle shrieks through the area plus the noise of the road signals! I get nervous every time I hear it having heard it in my long distant past!
Three good things;
1. I had a vision for this picture and it came out almost the way I thought.
2. Bought a fresh ciabatta, Whitestone Cheese, beetroot, leeks and radish at the Farmers Market just by this area. Lunch at home was superb!
3. Snow is forecast! John asked Siri, "what is the outside temperature”? and Siri replied, “I can’t find any Egyptian restaurants”!
Wow... really amazing processing. Super, to convey Ruby's "dreams." Isn't it great, when our result comes close to our vision? Siri and I don't chat a great deal... she has trouble understanding me! :)
@congaree Thanks John, - that colour was quite difficult - involved several photographs and layering but eventually after a bit of heavy duty words, I had to stop!
What, no Egyptian restaurants in your area?!! Come to think of it, I don't remember if I have ever been in one! This is really an extremely creative composition, and I love all the different elements in it. It really came out very nice.....BTW, your bike is really cool, AND, your 3 good things always make me hungry!! FAV!
siri is quite smart, isn't she? love the dreamy scene of the steampunk engine. wonder what siri would say if you put in your gps my address in canada? :-D
