I had a picture off an old calendar to give me incentive. It had this beautifully slim lady with a broad brimmed sun hat and a skirt that ruffled in the wind while she picked flowers from her abundant flower garden!
Mine was a bit different! But does look good on the black!
Three good things:
1. I did have the ‘befunky’ app that turned the photo into a water colour which was necessary.
2. I didn’t have a hat so had to use Picmonkey’s overlayer to place the hat on my head.
3. Made Jamie Oliver’s scrambled eggs - with NO milk! Result - well, OK!
Hah! we are both into the purple and green. (My mum said they were gypsy colours). Seriously tho' this is a beautiful composition and I love the processing and the juicy colours.
The most popular photo I posted once was a arty photo something like this.....great effects & I love this effect here ....very dreamy & I am sure that is you in your garden!
@happypat Oh, really? - the turn of the head? Not the meeting - never forget that but always have felt never had the opportunity to get to know you better. That time - my stepdaughter loves to talk - never stops actually!
and there i thought the hat was real. that reminds me, i left behind my hat in illinois at my brother's! but i have four more to use and lose elsewhere. the processing is nice. i think the great art masters must be laughing at us for having digital cameras and such to capture scenes that they laboured to paint, and then now we are trying to process the photo to make it look like a painting.
I thought I had commented on this, but I guess not!! Just to verify that I had not, I ended up reading all the above comments, and I would like to add that one of MY favorite color combinations is Red and Purple, so I guess that makes me a "stroppy lady", and it is probably a good thing I don't know what that means!! BTW, I just downloaded the Befunky app to my ipad! Thanks! This is a lovely effect!
