Still stuck in bed but got some better pills (I’m sorry to all those who said limit the chemist and her potions!). They targeted the sore throat and the coughing which didn’t help the throat. After 1/2 hour I was ready to get up and party! Then John pointed out that these pills only relieved the symptoms. But I was so grateful to being able to swallow without intense pain!
Three good things:
1. The evening sky developed outside my window and I’m sure I can see ‘Superman’ trying to climb out up these wisteria fronds outside! I think he has the mission (should he decide to accept it!) ..to rescue me!
2. One of the nicer things about being sick and having a TV in the bedroom - I watched back to back episodes of ‘Shetland”! A wonderful crime series set in those remote Scottish islands and so true to life!
3. I’ve seen fabulous sunsets and sunrises on 365 lately - most of them in Aussie!
ps…one bad thing; crumbs in the bed!
Love these delicate silhouettes and the soft sky behind them. Glad something has relieved your sore throat, I think that is one of the most miserable things to have.
Thanks Bep - yes it does and I am getting better!
Good to hear you are not in as much pain!
Yes, superman is on his way to you with get well pills
