I generally take one photo during the day in case another doesn’t turn up but I saw these houses lit up by the evening light and turned up my ISO in an attempt to get a photo with less noise. Taken from my patio. So the other one may not be needed.
Three good things:
1. Great cafe where we can read the provincial paper while eating, a) a toasted cheese roll and, b) a cheese and onion muffin. Not together!
2. The cafe had a nicely mown lawn so I went home 3. and mowed ours! Last for the season!
If we get the forecast snow tomorrow, I’m going to watch one of my saved movies!
You have a lovely view of the sea maggiemae....I know you were a coastal town but you are right on the hill with a gorgeous view. I would be sitting there lots! No noise there!
@happypat Yes, I've taken lots of photos at this low light time and deleted them all for noise! It just takes a bit of planning as I seem to keep the ISO on 80 for most photos!
Lovely, soft glow on the houses. Just looking at this relaxes me - and I need that since I'm at work in the middle of a mess. Had to take a moment to see photos and clear my mind. Thanks for your help!!
We get it 4-5 times per year, maybe...when it sticks. It snows more but sometimes it's just flurries. We probably get a foot or two the whole year. And maybe only 6 or so inches accumulating at once.
@maggiemae LOL! that is why I like winter best! You can always add more layers to warm up! There is only so much you can take off to cool down before you are at indecent!
@maggiemae You make me laugh. I am glad you are ok there with what you need to keep things looking nice. Summer has not started here yet but sure is dry already.
