Awamoa Park

Awamoa Park
A repeat of yesterday. Today was really freezing outside even though the sun was out. I went for a walk around a nearby park. This park is good for circuses, cricket, soccer, (not rugby!) and other events!


Three good things:
Made roasted potato using oil in an ordinary pot. 1. Think its better twice cooked as they do now! Needs to be very crisp on the outside!
2. Always love the end of the day when you climb into warm sheets and relax!
3. We only get mail every second day now! Rather good - you don’t have to look for the postman every day all the time! He comes on a motorbike!

The modern post man......do they wear uniforms......our seem to wear shorts all year round now & in Garstang they push trolleys round. Ours comes in a van about 3pm ......he is a talker! I can see this park would be good for all those activities!

Lovely spot. Our postmen (and postwomen) use different means of transport. Cars, bicycles, scooters, always a surprise..
