Yolanda skipped around, swinging her silver purse and humming “Chim chim cher-ee" while looking for something special in our winter garden …she found it in an iris reticulata! The same colours as she has - it must be family somehow she thought!
The little poser!
Three good things:
1. I found out how to make a “Table of Contents’ for the manuscript after a lot of effort! I thought what I needed was an ‘index”!
2. The All Blacks, our NZ rugby team went to Samoa to play their first match of the season - in temps of 29deg! Weight loss during the game will no doubt be replaced!
3. Ice and snow hindered transport all around us so we didn’t get our local newspaper which is printed in the next city! Annoyed about this but the good thing is ….I can’t think of a good one!
I quite like being 'snowed in' as we call it.......a,right for me to say now when we don't need to go out.......good excuse to stay put & read I say!
This is the closest photo we have ever seen of Yolanda.......she usually has her face buried in the back of Mr Man on his bike. Looking very sultry I must say! She will a wee bit cold...where is her hero with his jacket?
@happypat Mr Man is following Yolanda around the garden on his motorbike, Pat - he's worried she will get her dress dirty and they are going out to a party tonight!
She certainly is a gal who knows how to colour coordinate. Agree she may chilly! The third good thing is all the time spare that would have been used for reading, er or not!
@jennywren One would like to think so, Jen but until I finish this wretched Journal that is to be published, I have no time to read. But I do like to do the Code Breaker puzzle in the paper!
@twistergirl If you have written manuals you could have told me what to do, Doris! My hubby has written manuals too and he gave me a bit of help but I do like to figure things out by myself!
Nice shot, Maggie. She blends well with the iris. Isn't Winter fun? I don't know how much you get in one snowfall or in one season, but even driving in snow is awful. Our postal carriers and paper delivery people are used to it and they have to deliver on the day without fail.

#3 ...........you don't have to dispose of it!
Part of my job is to write procedure manuals and figuring out the Table of Contents can be agonizing! Give yourself a big pat on the back.
