The Jackal is also known as Anubis, half man half Jackal and is the guardian and protector of death. This is a shot glass for tequila and the jackal is outlined here absorbing the light from life itself! Thus there will be no ending here - just keep on slurpinnngg tequila! Cheersh!
It was late at night and I hadn't taken any photo - had to think of something!
Three good things:
1. Youngest son messaged from Canada saying 'baby on the way" However nothing more after 17 hours. Champagne is ready!
2. Manuscript is being worked on once again as Publishers say its going to cost $3650 to edit it over there! Its just commas and numerals.
3. A visit from my sister who lives up north. They have been skiing over in Wanaka. Mary just ski's in the cafe.
A glowing fiery jackal ....hot stuff! Three super good things......I hope you are a new grandma by now! Down the hatch with the champers! I love the skiing in the cafe...that's how I like to ski! Work lots more on the manuscript.....I think they are a little steep with the cost!
@happypat It was hours yesterday Pat, trying to find all the numerals under 101 in the script - the rules. My grammar check doesn't find anything wrong with my comma usuage! And not a grandma yet - a slow labour - 23 hours!
I hope all is well with the baby by now! A long labor is so fatiguing for mum! Mad skills to pull such a wonderful picture out of thin air! Creatively done! You think well under stress!
@maggiemae love this comment....won't be long when he or she will be the most beautiful, most talented, best look , smartest child on the face of the earth! You didn't say boy or girl?
@maggiemae - that's where my grandsons now live with their mom and stepfather. i'm giving them a surprise visit next month during our thanksgiving here. wish you could come and we could have a meet up!
@summerfield Nice thought - we are planning a trip but a bit later - maybe next year. Its such a long way but we could take it in stages - like a migrating bird!
@sdutoit I would have done a champagne photo, Sylvia but John had to go out for dinner at the Lions and I didn't want to open a bottle just for me! Anyway you always have to toast with somebody!
Congrats on new baby girl. Love the colours and light in this shot. We used to say that new babies, especially boys, all looked like little Winston Churchills. No idea where this saying came from!
and holy camoley! $3,650 for editing?!? i should start charging my friends for editing their work and their manuscripts! :-)
