The Sands

Up on a hill overlooking this beach, I saw tiny figures moving around. It wasn't till I downloaded this picture that I realised they were setting nets! At Castlepoint on the east coast of NZ.

Three good things:
1. Plenty of good things to photograph especially the lighthouse.
2. A sunny verandah in the hotel with a swinging sign saying "Booze and Bullshit area"
3. Some weird characters about including an elderly man in a tigerskin G string and nothing else!
