Another country road for Ruby to take me here so close to home! White horses were always worth a free wish!
Little did I know but at the time I was out here in the rural Oamaru, but a bad accident happened in Oamaru itself with a car travelling at high speed and spun off the sidewalk, killing a pedestrian and injuring another three! Needless to say those who heard of the tragedy, were worried about where I was.
Three good things:
1. I am happy to sing whenever I want - provided nobody’s listening.
2. Our sunflowers have opened up! We got free seed sent in an envelope last year.
3. I’m glad that so many support our accident services voluntarily! Fire/medical emergencies!
I noticed on page 61 of your mother's book on the fifth line from the bottom where it says "reflected, were the trees that are crowded on the bank, on the other, the cathedral, castle, and beyond an arched bridge. It's not difficult to imagine the very beautiful picture." Now I know where you got your eye for taking such terrific pictures!
@grammyn Thanks for that Katy- I was quite amazed to read some of her words - quite descriptive and this was just a diary that she was keeping to read herself !
Never knew about wishes on a white horse!!! Nice bright beautiful day!! Glad you weren't in the accident! FAV!
PS. Don't you know, you're supposed to sing like no one is listening?? I do and don't care who is listening and at times I think I could probably break glass or make a cow moo!!!
@maggiemae Ahhhhhhhhhahahaahaaha! It's dance like no one is watch and sing like no one is listening!! Equally funny if you're around me!!!! Or equally as bad!! Snort!
@plumtree2015 I do agree - I love the snow shots without having to experience them and adore the shots with palms and quiet trickling waves on to a sandy shore!
@tracie8266 Very nice of you to think of these people! but sometimes I wonder if the media are to be hit with all sorts of horrible events all round the world ! I wonder!
And I can add to your good things: Glad you weren't around when that horrible accident happened. Beautiful shot. The white horse reminds me of the legendary unicorns.
@kelly2 Mostly because they are young and silly, Irene but this situation was caused by an 86 year old driver who must have had a medical event and got his foot stuck on the accelerator!

But your shot is beautiful. I love the way you've used the vignette to draw the eye even more into the brilliance of the white horse.
