Good for one wish.. by maggiemae

Good for one wish..

Another country road for Ruby to take me here so close to home! White horses were always worth a free wish!

Little did I know but at the time I was out here in the rural Oamaru, but a bad accident happened in Oamaru itself with a car travelling at high speed and spun off the sidewalk, killing a pedestrian and injuring another three! Needless to say those who heard of the tragedy, were worried about where I was.

Three good things:
1. I am happy to sing whenever I want - provided nobody’s listening.
2. Our sunflowers have opened up! We got free seed sent in an envelope last year.
3. I’m glad that so many support our accident services voluntarily! Fire/medical emergencies!
Glad you are ok. Pretty pretty horse who had it's eyes on you!

January 11th, 2016
@grammyn The only thing I have left to wish for now, Katy is good health. My life is full in other ways!
January 11th, 2016
@maggiemae then you are very blessed!

I noticed on page 61 of your mother's book on the fifth line from the bottom where it says "reflected, were the trees that are crowded on the bank, on the other, the cathedral, castle, and beyond an arched bridge. It's not difficult to imagine the very beautiful picture." Now I know where you got your eye for taking such terrific pictures!

@grammyn Thanks for that Katy- I was quite amazed to read some of her words - quite descriptive and this was just a diary that she was keeping to read herself !

PS. Don't you know, you're supposed to sing like no one is listening?? I do and don't care who is listening and at times I think I could probably break glass or make a cow moo!!!
January 12th, 2016
Looks mystical. It could be a cover of a book or maybe a postcard.
January 12th, 2016
Pretty horse and landscape - sad story :(
January 12th, 2016
@cashew I thought it was 'dance like nobody's watching", Kathy! But both could be equally as bad!
January 12th, 2016
I'm so glad you were not involved in the accident, but rather wishing on horses. Beautiful picture
January 12th, 2016
@maggiemae Ahhhhhhhhhahahaahaaha! It's dance like no one is watch and sing like no one is listening!! Equally funny if you're around me!!!! Or equally as bad!! Snort!

January 12th, 2016
@plumtree2015 I do agree - I love the snow shots without having to experience them and adore the shots with palms and quiet trickling waves on to a sandy shore!

January 12th, 2016

January 13th, 2016
Very pretty horse and landscape. Why do people speed in a town
January 13th, 2016
@kelly2 Mostly because they are young and silly, Irene but this situation was caused by an 86 year old driver who must have had a medical event and got his foot stuck on the accelerator!
January 13th, 2016
@maggiemae oh that is so sad. . It will be terrible if he remembers what happened
January 13th, 2016
